I am looking forward to collect information about designated networks for female researchers/scientist.
At Ruhr University Bochum, a Collaborative Research Scenter created one for female scientist in the field of Neuroscience, neuronexxt. The portal aims to be a database for users who are searching e.g. for experts on specific neuroscientific research topics, e.g. for conferences as a speaker, to address them in order to applicate for an open professor position, as mentors, reviewers or members of research committees.
I think this is a very useful tool when it comes to the Gender Dimension in research and approaching female scientist on an international level in fields in which they are underrepresented.
Do you know about other networks that follow the same aim? Please share the link. I think it will be good to collect some information and publish it later in some way through the RESET websites and networks.
